About

Maud Dieminger

I work at the intersection of social transformation, ecology, food systems and long-term observational storytelling — combining journalistic research, intimate character access and self-shot documentary practice.

My path started in campus radio in Münster, then moved through seven years as an author for WDR, video journalism for dpa and Deutsche Welle, and years of character-driven reporting in Germany and abroad. That daily journalism taught me how to find a story quickly; documentary filmmaking taught me how to trust one enough to stay with it for almost seven years.

That's how I've worked on Food Forest Future – A Forest to Feed Us, my first feature documentary: following the creation of two food forests, in Phoenix, Arizona and Lüneburg, Germany, currently in development / editing.
