Documentary film & journalism by Maud Dieminger — based in Berlin, working internationally
Feature Documentary · First Feature
Almost seven years, one question: what happens when people plant forests instead of fields? A long-term observational documentary following the creation of two food forests — in Phoenix, Arizona and Lüneburg, Germany.
I tell documentary stories about people trying to change the way we live.
My work moves between journalism and long-form observational documentary filmmaking. I research, direct and shoot — often with my own equipment, close to the people the story is about.

About
My work combines journalistic research, intimate character access and self-shot documentary practice. Years of daily broadcast journalism taught me how to find a story fast — Food Forest Future taught me how to stay with one for seven.
